    • 1 Hold down the power button on the Nokia wireless phone to turn the phone off. It is a good idea to have the phone off when removing the battery. This is going to help reduce the chance of losing information from the phone.
    • 2 Flip the phone over and pull the slide cover off. Usually there is a small compartment where you can place the tip of your finger or fingernail and then pull down. The cover is going to come off without too much issue.
    • 3 Pull the battery out of the Nokia phone. Look for a metal connector that touches the battery. This is where the phone makes a current with the battery. Push the battery toward this metal connector and pull it out.
    • 4 Place the old battery or a new battery back in the Nokia phone. Clip the protector back into place and press the "Power" button to restart the phone.
